Outreach Mass Management
The Outreach Mass was designed, developed, and piloted by Saint Thomas Aquinas Parish in 1983/84 with assistance from Dr. Thomas Muth of Saint Thomas Aquinas Parish and the Michigan State University Department of Telecommunication, John Tellrico, WSYM-TV General Manager, and Larry Estlack, WSYM-TV Chief Engineer.

Lisa Whiting Dobson, Michigan State University College of Communication Arts and Sciences, was the originating Outreach Mass Producer and Director. The Outreach Mass originally aired on WFSL-TV, now WSYM-TV, utilizing donated airtime.
Once the Outreach Mass began airing on a weekly basis, it was managed by the Pastor of Saint Thomas Aquinas and the Diocese of Lansing Liturgical Commission. The Outreach Mass was then managed jointly by the Pastor of Saint Thomas Aquinas and the Diocese of Lansing Communications Department. Today, under the direction of Bishop Earl Boyea, Bishop of the Diocese of Lansing, the Outreach Mass is managed for the Diocese of Lansing by Rev. Gordon Reigle, Pastor of Saint Thomas Aquinas and Paul Lacroix, Executive Co-Producer. Lisa Whiting Dobson continues as Outreach Mass Producer/Director/Executive Co-Producer.
